SPONSORED BY THE INDIANA ACADEMY OF DERMATOLOGY AND THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR DERMATOLOGIC SURGERY ASSOCIATION
Last year, the IAD and ASDSA worked with state legislators and Governor Holcomb to pass a law that allows Indiana students to bring sunscreen to school without needing a letter from a physician and without having to store it in the nurse’s office. We believe this law will make it easier for youth to protect themselves from UV overexposure.
In effort to educate students and educators statewide about the new law, the IAD and ASDSA have created a new educational contest. Students enrolled in an Indiana school grade K-12 are eligible to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded to schools and students.
Deadline for contest submission is May 3, 2019
